the Catherine Award – finalists announced

My entry ranked 9th in the Romantic Suspense category and scored 158 out of a possible 200 points. Scored by three independent judges, all three ranked the submission a 5/5 in writing mechanics — that is, spelling, punctuation grammar and format.

Commentary – Can you get work done while music is playing?

Instead I choose a satellite radio channel with instrumental music only — one that suits the setting of what I am writing. Jazz, Latino, Tropical Fusion do it best . . . until Christmas time when Galaxie Smooth Jazz goes jingle bells . . .JM
